Prime membership is a commitment to action

PRIME’s mission is to give young people from underprivileged backgrounds a chance to excel in the legal profession.

Many law firms already run schemes aimed at broadening access to the legal profession and there is much talk about commitment to diversity and opportunity in the legal industry. At the same time we also know that the legal profession, even work experience, remains out of reach to a large proportion of our population.

PRIME membership speaks louder than words. It says that you are an organisation that is committed to taking action to improve access to work experience.

Why join PRIME?

We can’t change the legal profession without the support of our members, who range from large multi-national firms to smaller regional firms. You can read about their PRIME Commitment here.

By signing up to PRIME, your firm is committing to provide work experience for talented, ambitious, and motivated students from underprivileged and underserved backgrounds. Membership is a commitment to the change we seek in our profession.
